adapting training specifically for you
As we age, we all face reduced ranges of motion, diminished balance, and increased risk of falls. for those living with Parkinson's Disease, many of these difficulties are accelerated and the risk of falling can increase dramatically.
Every single day matters with PD. Every day is an oppertunity to invest in practices that improve daily living. What are you doing today to increase your effective range of motion? What are you doing today to improve your balance and reduce your stress? If you don't have several different effective answers to these questions, we can help you with that.
We have great classes for you. The PD specific Tai Chi classes at AMMA are designed for those living with PD. Together, we will systematically go through increasing your effective range of motion. We will deliberately challenge your balance to build the awareness necessary for greater fall prevention. Through the practice of Tai Chi, we will help develop better breathing and greater relaxation.
Studies have shown that regular (2x a week) Tai Chi practice ranks as one of, if not the most effective methods of combating the onset of PD symptoms and improving functional movement. Our classes meet twice a week to help build better habits for daily living.
It is always the right time to begin doing something positive and helpful. You can get started right away. Register below and be our guest right now for a week of classes to see how easy it can be to move mindfully in a healthful and functional direction. We look forward to meeting you.
