Step Two: Place the center of the belt at the student's middle.

Step Three: The (student's right) right hand side of the belt wraps all the way around behind the student and back to the middle of the front. Place it under the left hand side and hold it in place with pressure from the left hand side of the belt.

Step Four: Now wrap the left hand side of the belt all the way behind and around to the front, taking care to lay this side on top of the previous side.

Step Five: Take the top side and tuck it under both layers of belt, moving from the bottom to the top as shown.

Step Six: Gently pull on both ends of the belt to secure and center the knot over the student's middle.

Step Seven: This is your chance to adjust both ends of the belt to ensure that both sides are roughly even as the knot is centered at the waist.

Step Eight: Gently bend the lower end of the belt back across the center as you fold the upper end down and over the lower end of the belt making a circle.

Step Nine: Reach through and pull the upper end of the belt around and up through the circle you have created.

Step Ten: With even pressure on both sides of the belt, slowly pull the knot tight without "crinkling" the belt.

When completed correctly: The knot should look similar to a fortune cookie that points to the student's left side.

Both ends of the belt should be roughly similar in length and...
